Nice park. The electric sites are spaced a bit close, but we had a non electric site which was very nice. Had a great time.
Great place to bike/hike. The Old Abe State Trail starts here.
This place is great! Not much cover between camp sites and the sound travels pretty far over the water. But other than that prices are great and the scenery is amazing!
If you are visiting during the off season, make sure you carry some cash with you to pay for the parking pass.
Nice escape. The Chippewa River. Trail from Bruner Island to Eau Claire. Worth the stay.
Great place to camp, there are a few trails to hike, some short and some long. There's not much tree cover between campsites. Saw a cougar less than a mile from the campground accoss the river on one of the non-camping islands. Family also reported seeing a black bear cub on the island.
